Raring Horse Quilt ... and Finished ( or not ) Friday

Ohhh I am raring to go today - Bwahh haa haa....

I have a finish - and I am so glad!! I like having finishes!!

I had fun with this one - I was hoping that the blue border and binding would bring out the sky colors - and I think it did.

I have this one listed in my Etsy Store ( Alycia Quiltygirl ) for sale. I am pretty sure that none of you are interested in purchasing it - but you know... the more it gets looked at the higher it gets in the rankings.

and this is the backing I used .

Alright!! now it is your turn to link up your Finishes ( or not)

PLEASE use a direct link - not just a generic link to your blog.

Enjoy browsing around and leave lots of comments  ;-)

Good Morning Alycia! No, I did not know the more an item was looked at in Etsy the higher it ranked. Huh - you learn something new every day. This stallion is a beauty and I love how you finished it off. The surrounding fabrics really compliment that horse colors and that binding definitely does pull out the sky. Thanks for the linky party today! I'm off to do a little bit of reading. Happy Friday. ~smile~ Roseanne

MAN! I have GOT to get one of those unused panels out and give it a whirl! I never know what to do with them but I've seen several here that semi-spur me on to try. But as yet it hasn't happened. Yours looks fantastic!

Fun quilt, and I think you're totally right about the blue border and binding -- they really add a nice color element! Thanks for linking up with TGIFF. :)

Perfect way to frame that pretty panel! I struggle with using panels and need to dig out the ones I have. I think I'm better at starting than finishing. :)

I had a real thing for horses in my grade school days. I would have really coveted a quilt like this! You are right about the blue. It all looks wonderful. You really know now to churn them out, Alycia!

What a great finish! It shouldn't linger in the shop.

Of course you like a finish. Don't we all like to finish :-D
And when the colors are honey and caramel with a handsome horse, the feeling is even sweeter!!!
