Right On Target

it is T Shirt Quilt Season around here... all sorts of kids have decided to graduate - and their parents are letting them - Ha ha!!

So I spent a lot of time making T shirt quilts this week - and then... I did a little pieceing of my own!!

I'm so excited to get this top to this stage... and have a few seams left - and then some cool borders!!

I am pretty sure that these bright fabrics are helping to bring on spring!! Right??

PS- how many of you changed times? I personally love it - lighter in the evening means more hiking, riding and ranching time... but Saturday Night I set my alarm for 2:45 am ... I needed to help someone get up and on the road....

Sunday morning my alarm did not go off . I sat bolt upright at 3 am , panicked and woke my person up.  It NEVER dawned on me that the whole hour would just disappear and that my smart phone would not adjust!! Who knew>????

My person made it out and on the road and all was good, but it took a while for my heart rate to get back to normal .

I love longer daylight at the end of the day. Your quilt reminds me of the colors and designs in the 60s when I grew up.

I love your quilt and the bright colors. Spring is coming early this year in NH and I'm loving it. I like how you incorporated the background fabric into some of the blocks. Can't wait to see it with the borders!

Happy quilting!

You used the swirly rainbow fabric to really ramp this up! Nothing like a bit of early morning adrenaline!!!!

Well your person is a very lucky person. Although it is possible that the bright happy colors in your quilt top may be the cause of early Spring, I believe it is your agitation and hyper-excitement that is raising the temperatures. take a deep breath girlfriend!!!

That quilt top is turning out SEW cute!! I'm not sure that I would have chosen to do anything with it other than using it as a quilt backing. You have opened my eyes to BOLD new options, Alycia!

We changed time. I love having more daylight, but the transition is hard on the body.

You need an old fashioned alarm clock. I have them all over the house. Nice girly quilt.

Your quilt has pink in it, but I don't see any plaid. Is it for you? or your etsy store?

My cell phone updates its time via satellite I believe. It is my one reliable source for the time.

We will change time in 3 weeks here in France, more light on the evening, but I love to go and walk to my job in the morning with the sun ;)

I'm getting used to the time change-- being an early morning person, it's hard for me with it so much darker. I love your bright and happy quilt; well done!
