On Ringo Lake Progress

Last week I decided my goal was to finish for Brown and Cream Flying Geese.. and guess what!

I did it!

See!! All the Brown ones are done!! and I already had all the peach ones done - so...

I decided to keep going.

Put those together....

and....

I looked at the next step...

I had half of that step already done, so I decided to keep moving and see what I could finish.

The next step in the piece with the orange half square on it. I had the Brown and Teal part done... so!

Cut the orange and started on those units.

I got a lot more stitched, and ran out of time to get them all ironed.....

I think I might be a few short - so keep your fingers crossed that when I am all done counting.. I have enough ;-)

I might actually get this one to a great stage before Bonnies next mystery starts...... I have been thinking of what fabric I could use for Lupine and  Laughter

Also - My Steer posed.....

You have to love him right?  I think the dogs were freaking him out, he wasn't sure if they were going to move him, or if he was okay to stay !!

What a beautiful picture of your steer at sunset….love his ear silhouette :) You are jamming on your BH quilt……getting TWO BH’s nearing completion is amazing!

Good for you to stick to making ORL unit-by-unit. It's a great design. The sun surely rose this morning but we're in the midst of a snowstorm for a few more hours.

Nice flying geese progress! Your steer is very handsome. :) That is a great photo.

Hmm - seeing your progress toward finishing these blocks, reminds me there should be 2 or 3 lonely On Ringo Lake blocks in my orphan block box. Or somewhere else in a drawer. Because I never finished mine either.
