Purple Diamond chain Top !! and Finished ( or not) Friday!

I finished my July Purple Diamond Chain Rainbow Scrap Challenge top just under the wire!!! - Go me!

And of course, you will see it again - I mean I still needs to be Quilted ( and bound 😱)

I think it turned out about 40 ish x 48 ish inches - so a nice little small lap quilt... and its Purple - Who knew I loved Purple so much! I did not, and Now I want it everywhere!!!

It was also our County Fair week - So I entered a Quilt... It was in the group Category as the blocks were all made by different people, I pieced it, Quilted it . and - oh ya! I bound it.

You can see the full quilt here : Starry Log Cabin  I wish there had been enough room to display the whole thing. But!! I did a write up about Quilts of Valor, and they printed that and had it next to the quilt.

We won First in our Class, and Champion in the category  - so Yay us!!!

This next quilt is not mine, but I quilted it. It was pretty exciting to see that this one Won Overall Reserve Grand!!!

It's an amazing quilt and I really enjoyed Quilting it - so it made my heart happy that it did so well!!

hope you all had a great week too - and got some stitching in!

It is now time for you to brag! Strut your stuff! show us what happened in your world... and better yet - what did you get to the Finish part???

I love purples, and the Diamond Chain has some really pretty ones. I do intend to make a diamond chain this year. Congratulations on the win - such a beauty - and the one you quilted is gorgeous.

Your purple diamond chain top is gorgeous, Alycia! It makes me want more purple in my life, too. Congratulations to the winner of the reserve grand champion prize - it's beautiful (and you helped)!

I love your scrappy purple, and all your quilting is always so stunning. It was so fun to peek in again. It's been way too long!

That is a great job on the purple quilt! I am not a big fan of purple or pink but I can appreciate their beauty, especially in a quilt! Congrats on the Fair entry wins!

Congratulations on the ribbons at the fair! I'm sure your quilting helped that second quilt become a champion. Lovely purple one too!
