The other thing I did on the week that I couldn't remember was!!
Quilts of Valor!!!
We hosted a presentation before our sew day, and it was a blast. But!! Then we got to talking to all the vets, and didn't sew.... I guess we will have to make up for it on our next sew day haha! ( or not)
We had all branches of service there
we had Korean war, OIF, OEF, Desert Storm, a Linguist (that was cool to learn about), and Vietnam.
Then - I went home and put my feet up, and couldn't handle it - so I started playing with some more of the Log Cabins my State QOV group made . And I remembered I had a few Ohio Stars laying around - so!!
This is what I came up with!!
See - I really didn't want to do chores, or cook, or well, I guess anything other that Quilt and play with my dogs!
Laura and I made a bunch of churn Dashes - so I thought it was time to see if we had enough for a quilt top - and we did!!!

Looks like a very fun presentation. Hope you got some good stories from the guys (and gal). Your two newest QOV are looking good. Panels are always hard for me to figure out, so I don't use those very often. Have a great week.
From old to young, male to female and all the branches, just amazing!!
Wow - you've got a couple of beautiful QOV quilts going, to replace some of those awarded. That looks like a very pleased group of veterans wrapped in love.
Wonderful to honor the vets with quilts!! The new tops look great!
