Purples Skies? Purple Horses? Or just Purple and horses and skies?

Today is the Saturday of the Rainbow Scrap challenge PURPLE color!!!  and!! I found some purple blocks - I was a tad worried there! My son organized my block box, and Purple was way on the bottom.

Mostly I was worried I would mess up his great organization system - he has an eye for that sort of thing! ( whereas I use the Pile method)

So here are the Purples I will be working with this month:

Not a bad looking Bunch of Blocks right? I should be able to get some Placemats out of those! My goal is 7.... wish me luck! because....

June bring a lot of this!  ^^   Ah!!! mazing skies - and Yay for some Green pastures - Praying and hoping the heat stays back and we can get a good few months off of this!!

( Ps - my cattle are out there)

June also bring a lot of this:
Isn't my Baby so handsome???

He gets all decked out and ready to ride!!!

Have a great weekend!!!

Best of luck with stretching those PURPLE blocks into 7 placemats, Alycia. There's always sashing and borders, if you need some help!! :o))

How lucky you are to have a son to organize your stuff! Those skies are truly amazing. Good luck with your purple goals - I'm going to have a look at my scrap bin today.

Well, I hope your horse never turns purple, and in Colorado purple skies could be a problem, but those pretty purple blocks you found will make some neat placemats!

Nice picture of a rainbow! I think a lot of the country is suffering from drought. We just get 1/100th of an inch or something when we get it. So what is the point of that measurement and who can even see to make that measurement?

Oh, and, yes, you have a cute Baby!

Ah those were the days , riding and living in the great outdoors! I grew up on a farm and riding was my free time activity. Now I hike etc but rarely on
horseback. Enjoy those purple blocks and live large in the country!
Stay safe and sew on !

Wow, dark skies with just a hint of a rainbow. Very dramatic. And what a good use for your cute orphan blocks. Hope you got a nice ride on your handsome Baby.

Very dramatic sky, thanks for sharing. Sometimes, over Lake Erie we get super dramatic skies as fronts collide. I have only ridden a horse once in my life and I sure the horse is still laughing.

Great blocks will become great placemats! Love your rainbow photo! Hope the heat stays away!but it doesn’t look good! We’ve already broken a few records around here. More heat next week!

Love the stormy rainbow photo! Very cool. Purple is always such a rich color to stitch with. Hoping you've made lots of progress on those placemats.

Beautiful picture of the rainbow! How nice to have a son organize your fabric. I'm with you -- piles it is! Hope you managed a good ride before the weather turned.
