RSC Saturday - Light Blues

In my quest to use my 30's prints for my RSC2015 - I have found.... I used all the blues.

Not to worry - there is still more blue in my stash.... so I played. I love playing in scraps!!

I Layed the strips out and decided on a length to cut them

I made a huge pile

And this is what's left....

What am I making??  I don't know - but I really like the quilt I made like this:

I backed it with fleece
And even last night -
I snuggled under it,
While my husband kept opening more windows to cool  the house down

Oh  PS - anyone want that little pile of blue scraps???  Let me know in the comments - first one to say yes - I'll email you and get your addy....  PPS - I went to go do chores are ride - and wow - a lot of you like blue scraps - these are spoken for

Very soothing blues. Looks like you got a good start on that next project.

Looks like a great quilt for using up all those strips. Have fun.

Congrats on the stitching - and thanks for the offer, but I don't need more light blue scraps (giggle).

Nice of you to offer up your scraps, but I'm trying to reduce my stash, not grow it! It looks like you still have great projects to come.

Love your blues, and I will take your scraps. Great blue rail fence. I also put fleece on many quilt backs.

Sometimes we're the most creative when we play. Did you put batting in your quilt or just the top and fleece?

I don't see any other comments, but I would love those blue scraps! I can always use more blues.
Thanks,

ack! no takers for your happy little pile of scraps?! I'd love to take them (I'm so competitive that it would be fun to be the first one to comment) but I don't really need them! I'm sure you'll have someone stop by who can put them to good use! (and love your blue quilt, BTW...)

Sure. I'm trying to help a gal stash build!

Those look different from my blue scraps. I'm ALWAYS up for a scrap adoption! Send them forth into the world that is my sewing room. They will find friends aplenty!!

Great pattern, so effective in one colour and everyone loves blue!

Lovely Rail Fence. It would look good in rainbow colours.

I like the rail fence with uneven strips. I haven't tried fleece backing yet. It looks so inviting. One of these days....
