Oh! My! Gosh!! I just had a Quiltabulous weekend!!! It was so much fun and quilt filled... and a friend joined me - and it was just so awesome!!!
I am now all inspired and motivated and.... oh -
My friend came and helped me get some organization done, and get things caught up - and it's like a whole new feeling!!
So.... My sidetracked quilt -
I got the top finished.... maybe... this is it all sewn ( ps its a cell phone pic... sorry)
But it is still talking to me - so I am thinking it needs more blocks.... so I added some more to the side and the bottom.... I would need to fill in the spots ( obviously) but....
What do you think? should I add more? and make it a bit bigger? I think I like the idea of adding blocks rather that a solid border?
Oh.... your wildlife picture for the day!!!

Beautiful!!! I do like more blocks instead or borders.
I really like it! I guess the size depends on whether you want a bed quilt, wall hanging or a throw.
Bigger is better, right? I like it bigger - definitely better than a border. Although I might add the "bigger" to the left side. I love the bold blue block but I might like it slightly off center rather than on the side. IMHO
A classic color combo, one of my favorites, I love that you have some blocks that seem to pop out of the picture. I vote for more blocks. Just can't get enough.
Hugs
I vote for bigger... I love the block in the lower corner. Is this your own pattern? The colors and design are so pretty. Can't wait to see it when you are finished.
What a great quilt, I love the idea. I may have to check that out as I can see that as a great stash buster.
I too like more blocks rather than a regular border! Lookin Good!!
I agree that it would be even better, bigger. However, I find the yellow block in the bottom right hand corner pulls my eye away from the quilt. Perhaps it needs to be up higher?
I, too, am voting for more blocks rather than a plain border. I love the bright new block in the bottom right corner.

I love these blocks. More blocks would be even better.
