I've always heard it's very important to stop and stretch your legs when going on long drives. The fact that I choose to stop and stretch mine at quilt shops along the way makes perfect sense to me. LOL! I just got back from a three-day trip to Michigan (I'm from the Chicago area) and fit in 7 quilt shops.
My sister and I always plan our trips around quilt shops. Her copy of the Quilt Shop Companion is dog-eared and marked with our own rating system.
LOLOL - I read your post much too quickly and only read "glutton-free pancakes" ... huh???? ROTFL I wanted some of those. 8-)))
