Fabrics in the quilt top are from the 1998-2002 era from Barbara's fabric collection, the backing the only new fabric in the quilt.
Barbara's blocks were among the fabric donated to HPHQ in 2016.
The unidentified blocks were identified through pictures shared on the Facebook Applique group after which the pattern was located in Barbara's book collection. The finished quilt measures 63" X 75" The quilt raffle will be held at the Haxtun Community Center, Haxtun, Colorado.
Now you have all the Quilt info -It's all about me ( ha ha ha)
I LOOOOVED this quilt! It was so much fun and detail to check out!
Here are a few close ups that I took of the quilting ;-)
That Piping ( sort of) the yellow between the two blues was just beautiful and I wanted it to pop
so on one side there are lines, and the other I feathered the heck out of!
Each block left great room to play and enhance the applique
This is truly a gorgoeus quilt and I was so lucky to be the one that quilted it
