Building Churns

I am totally running out of Blog titles for this Churn Dash quilt.... I must need chocolate???

Anyways - I am making some progress on my Churn Quilt ...its kinda fun playing with it!

The math on the *fill ins* is kinda fun - but now, I have had a new thought - so ... am seeing where that will take me on this one.... stay tuned.... but don't hold your breath!

Saturday we went to the hay auction
I like that place... its full of action and numbers

and it smelled like hay
( hmm - do you wonder why?)

and you never know just what you will find at the auction
like....

a family of Great Danes?
That was sorta unique

and this German Shepard was there
He thought he could intimate those Danes with his barking
One of the Danes went *Whoof* and the German Shepard went to sit behind its cowboy

I know you aren't supposed to laugh - but I did!!

PS - The New QOV Mystery Mosaic starts Sept 5th with the fabric requirements
Be Ready ;-)

My little dog is a big bully to other dogs until they get close, when she tries to hide. Funny.

I think you may love Churn Dash blocks as much as I love flying geese. Thank you for stopping by my blog. Hope you fared well at the hay auction with the price of hay on the rise.

That's the funniest dog story! I wouldn't have thought a german shepherd would be out done by a dane. I love the craziness of your churn dash blocks! All different sizes and scrappy. Did you get much hay?

I struggle with titles, too, sometimes, but, in the end, it's the content that is important. I love your quilts and wish I had the patience to make them.

I have a rather big dog (65#) and she's scared of everything. Thankfully she likes most everybody even if scared! Keep plugging along on your churn dashes!

You keep churning out pretty churn dash blocks! And I've never heard of a hay auction. Guess it's a regional thing? We just buy ours from hay farmers.

There are such things as hay auctions? I had no idea. Oklahoma is big on in ranching, but I've never heard anyone talk of going to one. Learn something new every day. The Churn Dash blocks are looking good. I like the cheddar you've used for framing the smaller blocks. Three great Danes is a hand full and they do have quit a bark. I'd be looking for something to get behind too if three barked at me.
