Quilts of Valor 2015

I'm taking a break from my June UFO - to bring you this QOV show. If you want to see my June UFO - go back two posts..... it's still there ;-)




Our first quilt today comes from The Crafty Red Hat Group  - and was quilted by Kathy and Sue.

If you remember we are covering a special Womens Retreat so Zandra pieced ths one
Kathy and Sue quilted it too

Betty is a WWII Veterans Wife and a prolific piecer
She made the blocks, Sue put them in the top and Kathy Pieced it


The last quilt for today - again Quilted by Kathy and Sue
It was pieced by Jean

Yes, Alycia, I did the other one and loved the design. Was quick to make too, that's always a plus. So I am ready to quilt-along! Thanks for doing this!!

I have never done a QAL, but have a niece stationed in Kuwait. I'd love to have a qut for her when she vets back, may be even make one for her partner before then. I might join you!!

I love looking at your shows! Your and your amazing friends accomplish so much. Eye surgeries prevent me from committing to the quilt along but I'll send positive thoughts your way that it will be very productive.
