We are the Grapes of Wrath

♫♬🎜🎝We are the grapes of wrath......

We'll never take a bath
It is our style to seldom smile
And never laugh!
We are the grapes of wrath
So stay out of our path
There's no escape from cranky grapes
We are the grapes of wrath♫♬🎜🎝

I think I have a music problem.. Songs just keep popping up in my head...
Here is the video of this one:

I pulled out the purples to see what I had - and started singing... which turned into these few blocks and fabric for a lot more - and!! Purple yarn.. I have been lax in showing my looming - and lax in looming a lot of hats... I have quite a few - but need to do more!!

I have pulled my Purple yarns to get back to it!

i think I am going to change directions tho - and use a solid purple for the squares in the next blocks - see what I think of that.... maybe...

Ah, Veggie Tales, haven't seen that for awhile! When the kids were here they were into Bluey and something with Green in the title. There is that pattern I love so much! Do you think that loom is too complicated for young children? My little grands are 9 and 6.

It's such fun to see all the varieties of purple this month.

The grapes of wrath. . so funny! Those blocks are coming along. it is nice to mix solids in to. . .for a long time I held out from using solids think they had no depth. . .over time, I've changed my tune!

I like the striped fabric! Sometimes it's so hard to use multicolored fabrics yet they continue to follow us home, don't they.

My kids grew up on Veggie Tales! Your blocks look great! Purple is one of my favorite colors.

A fun song to go with some fun blocks.

I have had such fun with purple this month, and seeing your blocks reminds me that I had also thought of doing a gingham quilt in purples…a good comfort quilt I’d say!
