I took over in 2019 and boy howdy have we seen some awesome Finishes!! Hopefully you keep being inspired to finish - or not finish something each week. I know that my bucket list has grown from checking all your blogs out!!
My First Finish - is the Quilting on this Jelly Roll Plus Rails quilt. It was made by Connie at our September Sew day. My goal was to get all 19 that we made quilted by Sept 2026... I think I am on a roll to do that..
As you can see - I forgot to trim it before its photo - but the girls were ready to go fetch, and their patience was wearing thin - so I had to make the best use of my time....
Isn't it a fun one tho! Also - By Posting it - it reminds me that I need to update my Free Pattern page...
and did you know - it has been 5 years since the last Happy Half Square block was posted? That went quickly too - I wonder if I could make a new block project. Maybe it will come to me in my sleep!

That is a neat design for a jelly roll, and a beautiful finish, Alycia! I have a jelly roll to use up and I'm always looking for jelly roll friendly ideas. Those girls of yours are looking like they're saying, "Enough of the quilt stuff, Mom, let's go play!"
Those girls were waiting almost patiently for the photo session to end and fetch to begin! They have to bring you joy every day! I like the quilting pattern you chose for the rail quilt!

Very pretty! No finishes for me this first Friday, but maybe by next week I'll have a small one.

Hurray, the first finish of the new year! Great colors and wonderful swirl quilting. Love the dogs eager faces. And wow, green grass!
