I might have hurt my back a little, and I might have decided the 75-90mph winds were just not what I wanted to play in, so!! I retreated to my Scrap bin.
I finished cutting up the big pieces into 2 1/2 inch squares for my Chunky Churndashes.... and then - I had bits left over - so!!
I started putting them together and this is what is became.
I am not sure what I will use it for, or if I will add some to make it more placemat size, or???
But!! now the Blue bin is pretty put together . Not empty... but pretty put together! that's progress right?

Sorry you hurt your back, but your scrap bin sure benefitted. I can hardly close my blue scrap bin!
What does pretty put together mean. . .not overflowing? Contained? Room for more? Decorated with bows? .Oh, I'm being silly with math last thought! I'm glad you blue bin is happy those wonky blocks can become anything. . .that is the thing with scraps. Sometimes, they aren't decisive about what they "want" to be!
That counts as great progress in my book!

I often sew bits together like that and yours is lovely. It could become a tote bag, or many other things, it's the making that was important to you.

Hey, “pretty put together” describes my blue scrap bin, too. I’ve got a blue quilt (blocks) all cut up and ready to sew, so I’d better get on it so I don’t have to stuff those bits back in! Definitely stay inside and rest that back! You have official permission from your internet friends!!
Back trouble = Boo! Blue scrap fabric made = Yay! You'll find a use, I have NO doubt!
