Fun Four Patch QOV and!! Finished!! ( or not) Friday

We are at less than Two Weeks until Christmas!!! we don't do a lot of Christmas Baking, cuz we will just eat it all - but!!! This weekend... I think we will be making my family Fried Cakes ( they are donuts - but they are called Fried cakes for some reason)

I got this Fun Four Patch quilt quilted this week.

i think this one turned out pretty great - it is off to be bound - and then.... to a Veteran!! Yay!! I like working on group projects like this.

Now it is your turn to BRAG away - what got finished or closer to finished or ... dare I tempt you... started???

Hooray for a finish! I still have more background to cut for my Four Patch leader/ender. Your Four Patch looks awesome! A little baking is good. . , especially if it is a family recipe. We will be doing a little of that too although not much as we too don't want the calories settling around butts and bellies! LOL

Very nice QOV. It's a good preview of how mine will look when I have enough blocks. My blocks are sewn into sets of 4 so far.

Your Four Patch Fun quilt is so pretty - it just sparkles! I am the same with Christmas cookies - I'll just eat them. But you've got to make a little something, right?! Happy Friday, Alycia!

Beautiful collaborative quilt (and hooray for binding elves)! Enjoy your Fried Cakes; we are heading to a cookie decorating party tonight, so I baked over 80 gingerbread cookies to bring along. I suspect will come home with more cookies than we need.

I really like this 4-patch design, and your quilting is perfect for it. The diagonal plaid effect is really cool. Mind if I use this block for a charity quilt?

Fried cakes seem right since they were invented from cakes. The hole was added to make them cook more evenly. That's a great scrappy quilt.

How fun to group sew and pass on the binding to someone else? I really like the effect of the four patch fun pattern, kind of pixelated in a way.
