It is that Time again - graduation, and so many folks love to have a T shirt Quilt to commemorate . I made this one for a clients daughter - and it was fun to try to incorporate her dance uniforms in there.... the sequins were tricky !
Also - Tuesday Night we started rain , that turned to snow, and I was so happy. But this made me laugh: This is my tree line on Wednesday:
We got a lot of moisture and it was wonderful - its okay if it rains some more.. I joked - the recipe for a snowstorm is - Forget to Tarp the hay, Forget to disconnect the water hose, and send the hubby out of town - I swear the minute that mans plane took off... rain turned to snow. 😆😆
Now it is your turn!! Link up and let us know what you Finished ( or not) and brag about it!!!

My husband used to travel regularly for work. A friend had a husband who would have to travel for a month at a time. We commented how frequently something would breakdown before we got home from the airport!!
That is a great quilt finish, and just at the right time, too! We are out of town, so missed the snow, but have seen lots of photos. Crazy Colorado weather! Have a wonderful Friday, Alycia!
That is one special T-shirt quilt! Every time my dear hubby would go hunting, we had a house/property issue. it was like the place knew he wasn't nearby. The situation was funny AFTER it was repaired.
You got snow? Now? Wow!! BTW you can keep it to yourself. We are done with that up here, (in Canada) lol. LOVE, love, love the girls photo. Congrats on finishing the graduation quilt. ;^)
Nice job on those Tshirts. Glad you got some much needed moisture, we could use some too.
Your "dance uniform" quilt is really cute. Oh wow on the snow! And yes, just when you don't plan for it is when it happens.
The T-shirt quilt turned out beautifully! Love the photos of the girls, they look so chill. We didn't get snow this week, but we did get the colder temps.
Great job on the t-shirt quilt! Weather in the Spring sure can be crazy! We still need rain--many local forest fires kept away half of our QOV sewists yesterday!!!
same here, lots of heavy wet snow that melted in a few hours.
so happy for any moisture
loved your before/after photo... so true
and those beautiful doggie companions are always good hosts

What a fabulous graduation gift and that's a cool lesson to learn about sequins!
Cracking up at the recipe for a snowstorm, especially forgetting to disconnect the hose. I never had that problem, but I did leave my hose stretched out to drain in Black Forest, CO in April. We had a major snowstorm and there was a 6' drift over my hose. Luckily the drift dwindled before the need to fill the water trough for the horses! Glad you got some moisture.
A T-shirt quilt—how wonderful! I really must sew one of those myself someday... after all, it is the very origin of quilting.
I am absolutely delighted.
You have created a wonderful quilt. Congratulations!
And your three dogs... they are simply adorable.
Warm regards and all my love,
Viola
I just have 3 T-shirt quilts in my future, and I am scared to death! LOL.
