Slow Moving Progress

I am still working on my On Ringo Lake Quilt - but now all the blocks are finished... and in a pile... to determine the next step as to what they will become.

Because of course - I am still trying to keep up with Lupine and Laughter - of which I am not caught up - as we know the reveal has been revealed. Yes I have seen it, but I am sort of ignoring it now that I have one block made and concentrating on finishing the Parts first.

I am also continuing on my Chunky Churn Dashes as my RSC block. A few of you guessed I would have 130 by the time the month ended. Holee cow - that's a lot - I think that may be more scraps than I have? but then again - Who knows - things show up in the strangest of places.

This is my New Best Friend - We saw him  the day after Christmas.  I love him ( or her)

On Ringo Lake is beautiful! Love the colors. Very neat new friend. I remember a trip to AK where we saw dozens of bald eagles around a fishery. Awesome sight. Blessings!

The amount of completed blocks seem like anything BUT slow progress ,😉

Did the eagle just show up? How wonderful! On Ringo Lake is coming along so well--the strong browns are great. The colorways people have chosen for their Lupine/Laughter (posted on FB) are wonderful. Chunky Churndash is an oldie but goodie, just right for RSC.

Your best friend is majestic. Great photos -- as if he (or she) posed for you. I never thought to using Chunky Churn Dashes for RSC -- I may try that myself. I think it would be a good scrap buster as the rectangles are fairly small, and only 2.5" squares makes some sense. You are making good forward progress on Ringo lake. It's going to be a big one!

What awesome photos of your new friend! That is a lot of chunky churn dashes. I too am plugging away. . .slowly on Lupine and Laughter. . .that matching on those blocks for me sometimes even happens! You've made terrific progress on all fronts!

Your colors for On Ringo Lake are very fun. You are doing much better on Lupine and Laughter than I am. That will be one more BH quilt that lasts me all year!

Beautiful eagle photos! We have bald eagles in this area too, along the river especially. My neighbor is a retire professional photographer, and his retirement project has been wildlife photography. He just shared some beautiful bald eagle photos too. They are so majestic!! Your Ringo Lake blocks look great. I'm hoping to get a few more of my Lupines blocks put together today.

Wow, you're working on several things at once. Does that make you ambidextrous? The eagle is beautiful. Amazingly so . Thanks for sharing.
