May take me 42 million years!!!
I started a King Size Deco Quilt... KING!! people!!! KING!!!!
I am the queen of 60 x 80 inch quilts - How did I decide to make a KING??
Anyways - I got the first 54 blocks done for it:
54 - 8 1/2 inch square blocks... All squared.... Trimmings in the Dog bed bag:
THIS!!! is why I wanted a new rotary blade!!!That is A LOT of trimming..
But wait!!
Jessica Vaughn of JMV Quilts came to our guild to give us a trunk show. She also Taught a Scrap Mastery workshop the day of the meeting and I went!!
She said to bring scraps and so I did - who knew most of mine would be Patriotic?? 😆😆
but wait!!!
But Wait!!!
Our Guild is making I Spy Quilts for the Kids - and she asked us all to make some blocks - so I found my trusty kid box and dug in - I made 12 Blocks for our Guild Chair Person
At our guild we also started a Round Robin Block Exchange - so once I got my *box* from the person in my exchange group - I dug in right away to make her blocks
Super cool 9 patches with batiks - she wanted bright colors - I hope I did the job!!They will be passed on at the next meeting and I will get another persons box ;_0
Now you know all the million projects I started... and of course - there will be more!! thats the way my brain functions - on overload Haha!!
Also - I had a competition on the weekend - and I got a 2 Fer: ( its a short 5 second video)

Wow and standing ovation on the shooting/riding! Is that a .45?
Busy busy busy! I have a lot of RWB patriotic scraps too. I really like the top right block.
Congratulations! On all the starts and your competition. I love the patriotic blocks and the I Spy blocks are super fun.
Just having 1 ( or 2 or 3 or 4 🤣) projects would lead to boredom
You’re going to be busy for a bit! My favorite size quilt to make is 60 X 80! Nice shootin and riding!
What a great ride! Congratulations. Love the variety of the projects you have going. Those patriotic blocks are calling to me. Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.

Lots of fun stuff going on in your sewing room. Is the king size quilt a gift? The patriotic blocks are all fun. You've definitely been busy in and and of the sewing room.
Is your nickname, Dead Eye? That was amazing shooting while riding a horse! Great starts. . .each and every one. The cool part about the blocks is that you get to pass then on!!!
Girllll...that is how my brain works too. A king Deco though? Whoa!
Fun blocks. But why are you shooting from horseback? I don't see any bandits.
What a spurt of new quilts! I love it when you can ride the wave of ideas!!! Cool competition riding, too, btw!
