One of those bins is blue - and I have already made 36 scrappy log cabin blocks from it - full disclosure you know.... *sigh*
Cynthia at Quilting is more fun than Housework is doing scrap-a-palooza #3 and I thought I would join in....
Pulled the red bin, and the gold bag:
And made these:
Pulled the blue bin - and separated them - light and darl and started sewing:
Instead of making the individual blocks - I thought ( albeit maybe not brilliantly) I will sew a huge row together, and then cut the blocks ( 8 1/2 by 10 1/2) .... some of the 8 1/2's ht the seams really wierd....
But it is all in the name of USING my scraps - right?
And then were were supposed to put a cream/white strip on each side... so I pulled the Cream baggy out and
Ta-da.... I have enough precut scraps to get it done. I am trimming up the blocks today and I will be ready for the next step!
And..... I still have strips/scraps in my bins..... BUT!!! I have 30 blocks worth of scraps - so it is Win Win ...right?
