Star and Crown is Finished!! and!! Finished (or not) Friday

This one has been in the works for a while - just meaning it has picked up a LOT of love !

It started when Pat Speth talked at our guild about Nickle quilts,

then we decided ( okay "I" Decided ) that we should make this block at a QOV sew day.

It wasn't hard but it was a time consuming little unit...

We finally got all the blocks made, I got the inner top done in March, Borders finally on it in August - and it worked its way up into the Quilting Queue.

I quilted a Swirly Stars on it - and it is now in the hands of another group member to bind!! YAY!

You can see Pound Puppy there is trying to be a model - but her sisters are playing with a stick and she realllllllllly wanted to go... Who can say no to such a cutie pie?.

How did your week go? Did you get things Moved Along?

Any one dressing up for Halloween?

Any one ready to *Fall Behind?*  Its dark at 7 am right now - so I am ready for the change - It will make it light around 6 am now. My dogs will be happy for that - they like early morning walks!

What a beautiful quilt! Love the name too. :) I am ready for fall back, but I am really ready to just stop changing the time each year!

That's a beauty, Alycia! Now you've got me curious about what the block unit is - maybe I have that in a book around here somewhere. Hooray for a finish no matter how long it took!

Another gorgeous QOV finish!! That's a beauty! When I was teaching high school kids I always dressed up for Halloween. And lots of years I've dressed up to hand out candy from home. But this year we won't be home on Halloween, so I need to put that candy I bought in the freezer. LOL And yes - I'm definitely ready for the time change.

It's beautiful! And I love that someone else gets to bind it. :)
