Ranchin' around

I am trying so hard to remember to take my phone ( aka Camera) with me  - things change so rapidly here in the spring - and I love it!

The Colors - the Weeds  - the horses ... Lots of changes

Above - May - Below March... see how fast the changes happen - it seems like the Green just pops up overnight - and we rush to get all the cows to the right pastures to eat it up!!

We like to ride in the afternoons on the horses that we are training, or just getting back into shape - but one afternoon.... holee cow - the clouds came in and they were whirling and Twirling. we decided to head back - good plan!! Got everything unsaddles and the rain let loose and the storms moved east.

The Front Range from my East pasture. My girls need lots of walking time, so we headed out from our house - coming back - the mountains just shone. I think the rain had cleared the air, and the mountains had fresh snow.  the tall one is Longs Peak in Rocky Mountain National Park...

Sunrise - I was trying to be artsy while pretending to work......

and a Visitor!!!  My dogs were in the house with me and all of a sudden they were barking like crazy - I was looking for an animal out, or a car coming up the lane, or something.... then I decided to follow Bella's Eye line - an Whoa!! There he was - On my power pole!!

And there you go - a Little Glimpse of my world in Spring - and yes- I am still rotating between sweatshirt, winter jackets and t shirts.... Me and Mother Nature - experiencing those flashes haha!!

What a beautiful world it is!! Our spring seemed to just suddenly explode - from brown and bare to green and lush. But we need rain again desperately.

Great view...especially since it includes green! Green springs are rare here because we usually don't get our rains until July, but we're green this year. Great shot of your regal visitor!

Where I grew up, we used to laugh about Spring. It was the only season where one could be pelted with sleet, hail or rain; be blown over by wind gusts which were often followed by the sunshine of summer or the snowflakes of winter. . .all in a couple hour time period! We were continuously putting on layers, taking them off or drying them out! LOL Your views are beautiful! Thank you for sharing them with us!

Stunning!! Our friend's living room view is Pike's Peak. And when they climb to the top of their mountain they see the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Just beautiful!
