On to my Finish!!!
I got this little Framed 9 patch quilted up and bound!!
I feel like on a bit of a *clean out* mission. Making sure that things I have laying around are getting finished, and Hopefully out into the world. I used a really fluffy flannel on the back.
That being said - I do a TON of QOV's. I take a TON to Hospice, I have some listed for sale on my Etsy site.. what are some other options? suggestions?
And of course - I try to label them all, at least with my first name and state.....
Don't forget to label your quilts - I like using this pen, it does not wash out ;-)

Those finishes are something we quilters really love! I finished my donation quilts for the year and would love to have a lot more made in 2025. Not sure if Ronald McDonald house takes quilts anymore, it's been years since I did that one.

Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a huge organization that started in a little Idaho town called Kimberly. They build beds to get kids off the floor and quilts are beloved to top them off.

Framed 9-patch is lovely. My Framed 9-patch is in the hands of a quilter, so I might have it all finished soon. I've been thinking too about giving more quilts to various homes. Just this week I have offered 2 for a fundraiser coming up for the local safe house.
Love the yellow thread and design you used to quilt your framed nines! We support our local hospital with "passage quilts." When a patient is admitted, they are given a quilt which stays with them. For someone at the end of their life, to receive a gift is often difficult for them to accept. They learn that their family will take it home when they no longer need it. We often receive letters from family members telling us how much the quilt meant to their loved one. Size is about 40x60.. .
When we moved from Wisconsin back to Massachusetts I reached out to Habitat for Humanity. They were delighted to receive quilts from me. Every time someone who moved into a new home, they received a quilt. I also haven given to Project Linus. They distribute children's quilts where needed, such as hospitals, family homeless shelters, police and fire departments, etc.

I quilt for Sleep in Heavenly Peace these days. They build/place beds/bedding to get kids off the floor. There are 5 chapters in CO and should be easy to find.
I love scrap quilts with flannel backing, especially when they include purple! Nice job. Thanksgiving at our house is always all about the pies. This year we're having apple, cherry, and of course pumpkin!
