The Weekend... I need the week to recover!

We are still on baby watch - as of the moment of this post - Merry mare is still pregnant. I am not sure she is happy about it - but!! That is her condition .... I am truly hoping it comes soon - she is starting to make me feel miserable for her.

Maybe you know this - but horses are pregnant for 11 months - can you imagine???

We had storms....lawsy mercy we had storms - this was looking west from my house and it went south - so we just got the wind and the sprinkles of this one - but my friends got a river thru their place...

crazy!

We worked cows - So much fun with some of the greatest people around - but a long day. The weather held out - we had high 70's and a breeze - it was such a great day.

And guess what??? My husband helped me move things in my sewing area. It was awesome. We have been sorting thru my parents things, I have been donating and giving to family and I had a few piles of things I wanted to keep - but it was all in my sewing room.

So!! he used his muscles - and helped me move the things I wanted to keep and get them all organized and my sewing space looks SO nice!! I wanted to make something right away - so!!

Three more hearts have been added to my Glowing Hearts Collection ( QAL FROM MMMQuilts)
My deadline is June 15th so I can join her link up - maybe now I can GET THAT DONE!!

The weekend was so much fun but used all sorts of muscles that I forgot about.... haha!

It is always hard to wait for a delivery! Looking forward to new foal pics! Great job on the sorting out, thankful for strong husbands, and for getting to work on a project in the sewing room! Love the storm cloud pic!

Looking forward to seeing the new baby soon! And that is quite the cloud, too. It's wild how the storms build up over us by the foothills, but then often don't do anything until they move out to the plains. Your glowing hearts are beautiful - great progress!

Eleven months is a long time to wait! I hope all will go well. Hooray for husband's help! Life is good when you can create space in your studio! Those new hearts will fit right in with the others!

Love the R/W/B hearts. I see a QOV in the future? I'm glad the reorganization helped you find your sew-jo. Thanks for joining Sew & Tell.

Sounds like a roll up your sleeves and keep working week. Get some rest unless you get a horse baby.

OOOh -- I like your glowing hearts. It's such a cool pattern. Poor horse is right! Hope her time comes soon and all is well. So, no pictures of the new sewing space? That was one heck of a cloud picture. Mother Nature is amazing.

Hope Merry gives birth soon to put you both out of misery LOL. That storm looks vicious, glad it wasn't terrible for you. I love the colors you are using in your Glowing Hearts project.

There have been so intense storms all over this year. We got hit with a micro burst on the way to Texas. Nothing like going from full visibility to none, from 75 to 15 mph in like 2 minutes in Memorial weekend traffic! Love your hearts, the gradation affect is really cool.

I don't know if I've ever seen a pregnant horse before, but yours is beautiful. I hope she gives birth soon and safely. I love looking at storm clouds. Such beauty! Have fun in your clean sewing room! Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.
