Starry Log Cabin QOV Finish!! and ... Finished ( or not) Friday

I got a finish!!! whoop Whoop!!! However when I went outside to get the photos - the storms and the wind started up. I have trained my dogs so well - that neither of them would sit on it to hold it down. ( it was WINDEEEEE)

This is the best one of the bunch - and even on concrete - I couldn't keep it from blowing away!

The log cabins were made by all of our Quilters - I put the top together and!! are you sitting down for this?? I quilted it ( well that you probably knew ) BUT!!!! I BOUND IT! oh yes I did!!!! I was so proud!!

And I am sure you are dying for a Baby Colt Update right?

Just look at that sweet baby face!!! We took them to their own corral and he was so cute running behind Mom and cavorting. Then he had to lay down - it was too much energy. We did get a halter on him and pet him all over... he is SOOOOO soft!!!

Alright - not to steal your thunder for much longer!! it is now time for !!!

The QOV log cabin looks fantastic. It is amazing how all of the blocks made by different quilters come together. The quilting is beautiful. That is one handsome colt. I'm sure mama is proud!

your quilt, and quilting is so good!
The baaaaby is very sweet... I just watched a foal cavorting on day 2 and OMG it's heart warming. That owner was being bullied because he petted the foal, people! why so mean? He raises horses for people to connect with, so he starts early and mama was okay with it. Loved reading that you petted and checked out the baby by touch, and started it on the right path to connecting to people, some of us can be trusted!

What a stunning layout. Love the star in the middle of a traditional barn raising pattern. Also, love that you quilted VALOR along with stars and other motifs.

It’s a beautiful log cabin quilt and quilting is great. I can see words on it. Well done! Binding is my favorite part because it’s the last step toward finishing.
