Orange Rainbow Scrap Challenge FINISH!! and !! Finished ( or not) Friday

Whoo hoo - Got my last RSC Finish in for the year!!!!!

This was August's top - now Septembers finished quilt.

This is still my Lightning Streak quilt - but I was going for a Corn Maze look - sort of.... I mean - you can get lost in here, and probably not get out. but the idea was there

I quilted it in Fall Leaves

and I found a LARGE piece of Orange in my stash for the back

and then the sun was just bright, so I had to photograph it is a few places... I wanted that quilting to show up!

I bound it in the plaid - and it is on the back of our couch right now. Just a funny - we have three couches - Bella has claimed one, Daisy has claimed one - and the third? I have to put a laundry basket on it so they won't bother my quilts.  ( their couches have blankets covering them so I can make sure the hair doesn't go crazy)

I know RSC is still going and September was darks -  but from now until Christmas... my stitching time is limited - so I just QUILT all day ( whoo hoo) but I didn't want to start something I know I can't finish ;-)

Guess what day it is??? FRIDAY!! Link up your Finishes - or not Finishes!!!

What an awesome variation of the lightning streak. The leaves quilted in are just perfect.

That plaid is so perfect for the orange - great job Alycia! Lol on the puppies and their sofas. :D

That's a great finish, Alycia! I love your corn maze idea for the design. And I think you actually nailed both the August orange AND the September dark - because of the black and white gingham! Happy Friday!

You go girl! Love the Fall vibe this one has as well as that Fall panto -- finished this up just perfect. Despite plans I haven't done much with my RSC projects this year but am still hoping to take these few last finishing months to finally put mine to bed.

Great final RSC quilt for 2024. You see a corn maze. I see a pumpkin patch. Love the autumnal themed quilting motif.

I love the corn maze lightning steak - perfect finish in so many ways. I don't have much orange in my stash, so I am amazed that you had some for the back.

Corn maze--great fun! Hubby and I have gotten stuck in a few corn mazes, one where we even had a map! Lovely leaf quilting, perfect fall quilt.

Such a fun finish! Love the autumn leaves on that orange. Hope you have the weather that promotes some snuggling under it. It's still too warm here for quilt snuggling just yet.
