Patriotic *just one thing* Churns

Back in April I decided to do a Just One Thing Churn Dash quilt - as in I made just ONE Churn dash a day - and then ....at the end of April I had 30 blocks and bam!! A quilt was born ( You will have to come back Friday to see if I finished ..Quilted and bound... it or not!)

I was messing around in my squares and scraps, and looking at the custom Quilts I need to make this month, and I thought - I am going to do that again - with my Reds and blues, and use that as my Leader/Ender for these custom quilts...

Here is where I am!

Okay - for real - that is where I was on Friday as well.... Somehow the weekend got away from me !

I am thinking I will do my best to make as many as I can and them figure out how I want it finished!

Bet it was hard to stop at one each day! Churn dashes are so much fun.

Oh, I really like the scrappy red churn dash in the upper right hand corner!

Your churn dashes are so pretty in the r, w, and b! I see a plaid there, too. Looking forward to seeing your Friday quilt!

Brilliant idea to make a block a day -- or several blocks on one day and several another day... I like churn dashes and using the white centers and switching between reds and blues for the background works very well. Life gets in the way sometimes so, yep, somethings we really want to work on don't get worked on. Sigh. There's always another day.

Such a great pattern for the r/w/b fabrics!!! I think it is a good idea!

Thats a nice motivation, a block a day, but yes life can interrupt us, too. They are perfect. I am trying to do some organizing, but not making much progress...but we aren't even halfway so there is time!

Sometimes it’s impossible to even get into my sewing room. Congrats on making progress.
