I thought long and hard about that word - and the thing that stuck in my head was the Love of Country that our Veterans show to us every day - to the point of death.
( of course, we had just hosted our QOV presentation - so that was quite fitting)
I decided to head out to Fort Logan Cemetery and see what I could see that spoke to me.

It's amazing the difference in feeling between the black and white and color photo. Both are good photos, but I think the B&W conveys the mood better.
