Today's giveaway!!
Now I will be honest - I do love these fabrics - I think they are so pretty and feminine....
but... I won't use them in 2021 - so I would love them to be loved by someone else and become something ... other than in a box.
The row in the back is all Fat Quarters - and the row in the front is scrap pieces - Most are good sized - like 9x9 -
I see a beautiful Quilt in your future!
If you are interested - leave me a comment with your favorite Christmas Side Dish...
I will draw a name on Saturday - so leave me a way to connect with you!
My favorite Christmas I dish is definitely old fashion slaw my mom used to make it it’s like a coleslaw but it’s made with vinegars instead of mayo and it’s a German recipe that she’s made for years and I look forward to it even at my age every year
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for your sharing heart! I confess, I love good old fashioned mashed potatoes and gravy!
ReplyDeleteThose are lovelyvfabrics.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite side dish is corn pudding. Yum.
Pretty fabric. My favorite side dish to take is Grape Salad.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite side dish is a green jello that my grandmother always made for holidays. It had pineapple, maraschino cherries, sour cream, nuts, and of course lime jello. I haven't made it recently, but maybe it's time again!
ReplyDeleteI love cheesy potatoe casserole. Goes great with ham.
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh those FQs would make a lovely donation quilt for our women's shelter that rescues women/children from abusive situations.
ReplyDeleteFavorite side dish: steamed broccoli, mashed potatoes (tough choice)
My favorite Christmas side dish is fruit salad. Oranges, kiwi, strawberries, blueberries, apples, pineapple, coconut, maraschino cherries and coconut. It tastes so fresh among the other delicious heavier things - like mashed potatoes and gravy. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteYou are doing a good job of cleaning out! I can practically see the quilt already! lol
ReplyDeleteOmigosh - these would work PERFECTLY with two of the projects I'm planning for 2021 -- so much more my colors than the ones you showed yesterday. Thanks for the chance, Alycia!

ReplyDeleteDose Mince Meat Pie count as a side dish?
ReplyDeleteI only crave it at this time of year...... but oohhhh I want it. lol
If not the Pie then the olive and cream cheese stuffed celery Mama always made for snacking on the big day.
Our favorite Christmas side dish is parsnips braised in maple syrup. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteHi! I'd love these fabrics for a project I have coming up. Thanks for the chance, and I love your blog.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite side dish is scalloped potatoes, or au gratin sometimes.
Yams are my favorite side dish with a raspberry jello type salad coming in a close second. I wait for these once a year dishes and it’s part in the tradition of Christmas. Thanks for your generous giveaway.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, side dish you say? Perhaps cranberry orange relish. I'm not much on cooked veggies.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty assortment. I'd love to add them to my stash. There's a floral nine patch in my future. Thanks for sharing. Merry Christmas to you and your family. San, Gypsy Quilter: sandolly371@yahoo.com
My mom's scalloped corn is always the best. I make it every year, just isn't as good as my mom's was
ReplyDeleteThese certainly are lovely fabrics. I think I owned a few of them at some point. Again, these would make lovely lap quilts (Comfort Quilts) for the families of our vets. We often make disappearing 9 patches with the feminine fabrics. Our favorite holiday side dish is Waldorf Salad - tart apples, walnuts, and maraschino cherries make a colorful dish. Thank you again for all you do for us and our wonderful and deserving veterans.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite side dish ANY time of the year is mashed potatoes!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for offering a chance to win! I could totally see making a donation quilt out of these lovely fabrics, Alycia. It would make a perfect addition to the Lutheran World Relief Mission Quilt Drive going on over @ The Joyful Quilter blog!
My favorite side dish is the all-common Green Bean Casserole!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to have your fabric. I'm thinking table runner, wallhanging, etc.
Stuffing yummy
ReplyDeleteMy favorite side dish is Broccoli Cauliflower Salad--I always make this because I love it and never make it just for "every day"! I will eat the leftovers for breakfast the next day, as it gets soggy in a day or so. It has grapes, sunflower seeds, shredded cheese & a yummy sweet dressing. My daughter says she can recognize my salad at a potluck because "you always cut it in little pieces, just how I like it"--a nice compliment from her! BTW, I have some fabrics similar to this giveaway, so it will be easy to blend with your fabrics (if I win!).
ReplyDeleteMy favorite side dish is cheesy potatoes made two ways. I make one with dairy and another gluten and dairy free.
ReplyDeleteThe ONE thing I make EVERY year(and only at Christmas) is Italian struffoli. Technically not a side but it is the one thing the whole family looks forward to.
ReplyDeleteI love sweet potatoes with toasted marshmallows on top.
