Anyone interested?

See you tomorrow - I may have more ....
Snowballs, also known as Mexican Wedding cookies.
ReplyDeleteI would gladly turn it into a donation quilt! Nice way to clean out and yet get a quilt out of it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great gift! My favorite holiday cookies has to be Traditional Christmas cookies. The grandkids love to make them.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Alycia. Yes, I am very interested in the fabric. Any fabric helps me out a lot.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance. My favorite cookie is The Magic Cookie Bars.
Cornflake Cookies might be my favorite though I am not sure I ever had a cookie I did not like! Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday cookie is a sugar cookie. The recipe is called To Roll or Not To Roll. It was on the flour package years ago (but you can still google it). I love a simple cookie. My husband's favorite is a soft gingerbread cookie. My son's favorite is a good chocolate chip cookie. I've made lime shortbread with cranberries and dozens of other "different" cookies but we always come back to the basics. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday cookie is Klein Confect, a German cookie handed down from my mother's family. These are roll out and super wonderful. Only 4 ingredients.
ReplyDeleteThese fabrics would be great for our Comfort Quilts that we give to vet families - lap sized. My favorite holiday cookie is Springerle which is a German cookie that takes 2 days to make. Anise flavored. Have to hunt for them in a German community.
ReplyDeleteHave a happy holiday! Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite of all cookie is the pecan balls/ wedding cookie/ snowballs....they have so many names ---the kind with the finely chopped pecans! They are so delicious and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteA Dutch cookie called Spekulaas. (Almond paste filled spice bars).
ReplyDeleteI would be more than happy to use this fabric in donation quilts for my community!
Merry Christmas.
My favorite Christmas cookie is orange cranberry shortbread. DH makes these and they are SO good I could eat the whole panful in one sitting (but I don't because that would be greedy and that's not nice . . . ). Thanks for the chance at those fabric/squares - great darks and that yardage could be used in a lot of interesting ways.
ReplyDeleteI love cut out cookies with cream cheese icing!
ReplyDeletemine is chocolate Chip
ReplyDeleteGingerbread, for the happy pandemonium of getting them decorated with all the kids in our lives (except this year...).
ReplyDeleteHmm, maybe I should pull out some stuff I won't use and offer it also. If only the postage wasn't so high.
ReplyDeletePeanut Butter Blossoms! 5" squares are my favorite!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday cookie is a snickerdoodle but Mexican wedding cakes are a very close second. The fabric can be used by any charity quilting group. Cut small enough it won't look the same.
ReplyDeleteChocolate chip cookies made with red and green mini m&ms instead of chocolate chips are my favorite Christmas cookie. Yum!
ReplyDeleteShortbread! or Spritz! or roll out cookies----my favorite thing to do on a rainy afternoon with the kids. And yes, I did see those lines; I thought I might get a roll of stamps so I could pay my bills---but it looked like I'd be standing there for over an hour or more. Maybe I'll get some stamps at the grocery store instead.
ReplyDeleteI"m not sure what I would do with those squares, but the border print would make great honeycomb english paper pieced medallions.
Hope whoever 'wins' will post their final creation here for us all to see.
Homemade Decorated cookies are a favorite here.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday cookie -- is "all of them" an answer? LOL. But if not, I'd say: snowball cookies -- with walnuts rolled in powdered sugar.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday cookie is gingersnaps! I'm headed to the store now to get some molasses. I like mine chewy but my husband likes them crunchy, so I just bake them longer and we're both happy!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas cookies are snickerdoodles. We’ve always had to make several batches as they are everyone’s favorite.
