Finish A Long Quarter 1 Goals

Oh boy.... I might have taken a walk through my quilting space and I might have made a list.... Might... not confirmed though!

Every quarter I am going to participate in the Finish A Long 2015 with On the Windy Side  in an attempt to make that list go away!

Goal #1:  Pink Bar Quilt:
Finish the top, the backing, quilt it and Bind it.... oh boy - that's a chunk!!
THIS one is also my ALYOF January Goal.

Goal #2:  Bind 3 Finished Quilts.

I am not going to show you them because I intend to grab the top three off of the pile and just bind - it will be a surprise to all.  (Please DO NOT ask me how many quilts are in the pile)

Goal #3 : Finish Plaid #7

here is is today:

I might have a long way to go..... But it is Plaid... seriously!! Plaid - I won't quit LOL!

  1. Thanks for sharing the 2015 FAL - it might be just the motivation I need for my year of finishing!

  2. Sounds like a doable list for the first quarter. I'm joining up with ALYOF this year for the first time. With 16 UFOs, it's time!

  3. I finished up a Halloween quilt that I started like 2 days before Halloween and a Christmas wallhanging that I probably started after Christmas and am taking to longarmer today! YAY! That'll make two finishes rather early in 2015 I hope. I did a wee bit of a recap of a few things I'd like to finish this year (didn't want to get overzealous) so I'll be plugging along with you (maybe...LOL)!

If you are longarming for others, I'm shocked you have any time to quilt for yourself! LOL Good luck with your goals. I love plaids, too!

  5. You're off to a great start! Always amazes me how much you accomplish...spurs me on to make some progress too. Does turning on the sewing machine count? :)
