My finish this week is not a quilt... but I want to brag anyways!!
For my Grandbaby!!!
A long time ago I started and owned a Maternity & Nursing Clothing Company. We also made Baby clothes - but the adult ones sold the best. The baby clothes - I had fun adding things to them, but haven't done it in a LONG time.
I happened into Hobby Lobby - and in the back they had these Gerber onesies - and I thought.... I have to try.... and so I did!! and I love it!! It is on its way to baby right now!!
And that is my big finish! We got a truck back ( yay) we got a car back ( yay) one vehicle is still being determined if it is fixable or not.
I got a new computer (did I tell you my other one decided to try to give up the ghost?) there is something about this July that is not our friend haha!!
No Worries.... What have you been up to???

I am still getting caught back up from last week - did you know how long it takes to transfer one computer to another ( and no - I do not use the cloud - I am opposed!)

The onesie is really cute! I love onsies, my first two children had the undershirts pulled up all the time, by the time the surprise child came along, onsies had been invented! That's what she wore all the time on hot summer days. Glad you got the vehicles back, I also haven't succumbed to cloud trying to hold me up for money. Happy stitching!
ReplyDeleteThe onesie is adorable! I love that scrappy heart. Yay on the vehicles but boo on the computer. I have a laptop and anything I try to fix on it takes way too much time!
ReplyDeleteGlad things are starting to return to 'normal'! The onesie is adorable! Nice to see you remember how to embellish baby clothes!
ReplyDeleteYour onesie is so cute, Alycia! I think it is the first of many fun projects you'll be making for Baby! It's good to get a new computer, but, yes - also so much work. Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteVery cute onesie. Some years are just expensive it seems. After the storm 4th of July weekend, getting a new roof is pretty much required now. It's always something it seems.
ReplyDeleteThe onesie is adorable!! You did a beautiful job adding the applique.
ReplyDeleteI love what you did with the onesie - so cute! I did make some clothes for my grand kids when they were little - pull up shorts and a t-shirt with matching design from the shorts. That was fun.
ReplyDeleteGlad you have at least 2 vehicles back - sorry about your computer though. We rely on them so much, don't we? Blessings!
Now that is a great way to embellish a onesie! Hurray for getting a car AND a truck back from the repair shop. Ugh for transferring computers. I do use the cloud. . .it has saved me several times!
ReplyDeleteA grandbaby? Congratulations and how delightful will it be to see the baby in this custom onesie???!!!! I'm glad you have vehicles back, sorry your laptop also decided it was time to drop off, and I hope the rest of this month goes a lot smoother!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet onesie! You sure have done a lot of things. And since you have boys, I’m guessing you’ll have loads of fun with a granddaughter 😄
ReplyDeletebeen there with one vehicle after another being fixed - not always happy about that kind of stuff - computers and phones are trying when it comes to transferring information
ReplyDeleteA finish is a finish and this one is cute. Great job! ;^)
ReplyDeleteGlad you got your vehicles back. Really glad to see your cute onesie and hear about your sweet little one!
ReplyDeleteAaaw cute as a button .Yah! I am glad you are having a better week, Alycia. You deserve it. Have an awesome weekend. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteSuper Dooper Cute! Congrats on your new grandbaby
ReplyDeleteYour grand daughter will look even more adorable.in that sweet onesie! Have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteAdorable onesie! Aren't baby things fun? I hope all the "excitement" with trucks and cars and computers is over for a long while!
