In June I went down a Rabbit Hole and followed the link to a Jelly Roll 18 Pattern... it was awesome, and then!! I wanted stars - so I looked at my Own Happy Half Square Blocks page and I made a Quilt.
And then!! I started dreaming it in Patriotic Fabrics... and then!! I realized we had a Sew Day coming up, and my Quilting Friends are the Absolute best - and they love to create things that I dream up... I also bring them chocolate.
We made a bunch of Jelly Roll 18 Blocks , and a bunch of HHS3 Blocks and came up with some layouts!!
Layout 3 ☝
I have already started rowing one of these layouts - but!!! VOTE!! Which Layout is your favorite??? I have enough blocks to make one more besides the one I am mysteriously stitching on!!

ReplyDeleteLayout 3 and 1 in that order!
ReplyDeleteWow, this one looks electric with excitement!!! I like layout #3!
ReplyDeleteLayout 1 is my vote
ReplyDeleteWhat???? A Favorite???? I like them ALL!!!! Since you are MAKING me choose, I'll go with 3 but 1 and 2 are just as lovely!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite setting is #1 and #3 looks great also.
ReplyDeleteLayout 1 is my choice.
ReplyDeleteI like #3 best (#2 makes my eyes go fuzzy ;-) ). You come up with the best block combos!
ReplyDeleteNumber one…of course lol!! It’s a great quilt in all the ways.
ReplyDeleteI like layout #1 but #3 has your diagonal vibes going on!
ReplyDeleteI prefer layout 3. The others are too busy for my taste. I love HHS3 blocks!
ReplyDeleteLayout 2 because I have some building blocks and it best fits my needs. I like color Mashup. I am trying to break from my rigid engineering to the more artistic.
ReplyDeleteLayout 3 really caught my eye! But this will be great in any of the layouts. Great block combination.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely layout 3!
ReplyDeleteThat is a fun combination of blocks! I like layout #1. I think you're going to have a tough choice to make!
ReplyDeleteWay to go, Alycia, I love your quilt !! Love it when a block makes a crossing chain and the alternate blocks are the most fun and easy, very color coordinated. I like layout 1 the best.
ReplyDeleteOooh I love this quilt in progress! It is so exciting to see the different layout options. I just cannot choose a favorite. Looking forward to seeing what you decide.
ReplyDeleteAll are nice but I'd vote 1 then 3.
ReplyDeleteOf these, #3.

ReplyDeleteI like 3.
ReplyDeleteLayout #1 is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Layout 3!
ReplyDeleteGreat block combo! I like 2 the best although I had to study the photos a bit to be able to tell the difference between 1 and 2.
ReplyDeleteThat’s a lot going on, but I love it! I vote for #1 since it’s the relatively calmest 🤣
ReplyDeleteLayout 1 is my favorite but really, all of them look great.
