Jelly Roll Rail Finish and FINISHED !! (or not) Friday!

Happy Friday!!!

Sew... Last Jelly Roll Day our QOV sew Group made these Jelly Roll Rail Quilts.

JELLY ROLL RAIL PATTERN HERE ( as in CLICK)

I thought ( that will get me every time) I had quilted all of them - but a straggler came in!!! And its all good - because it spreads the Quilt love out a bit!!

This one is NOW ready for binding!

PS- its a pretty photo heavy post because. oh yes! my Girls!!!

This one was made by Mary M . She even made binding for it - so the next person who touches it can get that binding right on it!! Look at my Girls!!!  I laid the quilt out on our fake grass and they came and laid right by it.

They didn't even try to walk on it or anything. I tell you what - am I a Dog trainer?  ( Don't answer that - we don't need to get that real today!!)

The quilting is stars and waving flags - it was a pretty dense pattern and I love how it turned out. But since the quilt is so dark - and the sun was so bright the quilting pattern had a hard time appearing - hence....The back!!!

  3. Your girls look like such sweeties! And they're learning how to pose correctly with the quilts, too. Mary's quilt is a beauty! Great way to use jelly roll strips and the perfect background for them, too.

  9. What good-looking quilt inspectors you have! Your jelly roll project gives me an idea for a way to use some of the scraps I got at the church rummage sale earlier this month.

  10. Just when you think you are out, they pull you back in! But why not, it's a chance to have your cute quilt models pose with a lovely new QOV quilt! Love that stitch pattern too. I have to work on a QOV kit for my MIL's guild. I don't have to quilt it but might still encourage her to look for that one for her LA in the event we want to quilt one in the future!

  17. Such a beautiful quilt! The stars and waving flags design is perfect, and I love how your pups instinctively stayed beside it—so sweet! Can’t wait to see it with the binding all finished.
