Rainbow Scrap challenge Placemats in Purple....

 The color this month was for Purple

The goal was 7 placemats

I got close!!


I got Eight Made!! Eight Quilted.... and well - of course, they need to be bound.... but!!


I also Finally got all of my May Red placemats quilted.... and of course, they need to be bound!!


In a proud moment - I do have all the binding cut for the reds - and today I hope to Make the binding... small steps... right????

  9. Great placemats! How many total have you made now?
    Something to think about: Since placemats are small, would it be possible to use the "birthing" method to sandwich them? That way the edges would already be finished when you quilt them, no need for binding.
