Way to go, all the placemats bound!
ReplyDeleteIt has to feel good to have that chore finished. Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteYeah! Another great bunch of placemats!!! Are you giving them away as you go or are you waiting until the end of the year and giving them all away at once?
ReplyDeleteYou sure rose to the challenge! Good for you! Won't those make meal time cheery for lots of folks!
ReplyDeleteSometimes a challenge is what we need to get moving on certain projects! Your green pinwheel placemats are my favorite.
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Alycia! Hip, hip, hurray! Great job on all 10 placemats plus. They all look fabulous. Now what are your plans for them? They will certainly dress up any table they grace. I have to comment on your surprise baby and that face!! I think she definitely needs a friend. {{Hugs}} Thank you for the linky party. I just HAVE to go read Really Big News! ~smile~ Roseanne
ReplyDeleteI love your placemats and the idea of your placemat project. For Christmas my church group made placemats for Meals on Wheels and an Alzheimer unit, but we need to make more non-holiday ones for them.
ReplyDeleteOh congratulations! Quilted placemats are in constant rotation in my home. Do you finish the binding by machine?
ReplyDeleteNothing like a challenge to get your projects in gear! I like the "2 for 1" quilting --- by adding the placemat to the extended backing of another project. Very efficient use of your quilting time and set up. Great cause for the finished mats too!!
ReplyDeleteI think I am going to copy your idea for 2022. I have so many scraps and making a bunch of placemats to donate sounds like the ticket to me!
ReplyDeleteGreat bunch of green placemats!!
ReplyDeleteNothing like a challenge to get us to finish projects! That was a lot of binding to get all of those mats bound. Congrats on the finish.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on green getting checked off the great placemat project, Alycia!!
ReplyDeleteThe placemats look great, Alycia! But I am still daydreaming about your cute little baby cows from the last post...
ReplyDeleteThat challenge worked for you didn't it? Congrats on the finish!
ReplyDeleteYou've really gotten into the groove of these placemats-so nice to see your piles grow!
ReplyDeleteNicely done!
ReplyDeleteYea, you did binding and you are still alive to blog about it ;)
