Green is such a happy color!!! And it is the color that Was chosen at Super Scrappy
So I went to my trusty bin of blocks, and started to dig. by the way - This is month three of using this bucket, and I still can not lift it myself to put it back on the shelf.....
Here are some of the Greens I found to work with this month:
They are just so bright and happy - and totally make my front room look good!!
I also got three more of the yellow ones from last month quilted .. ( I have 3 yellow ones to go)
And!! I got two more Pink ones bound.... Progress is being made!!
Wow - lots of green blocks to play with!! I dug through my table runners recently and realized I don't have any green ones at all. So I guess a St Patrick's Day runner needs to happen one of these days.
ReplyDeleteWonderful progress is being made - indeed!
ReplyDeleteI will be rummaging through green this week also - but the sun is out I will want to go out and play too
ReplyDeleteWow!! SEW many GREEN blocks to play with, Alycia! How many placemats do you think you'll get out of the lot of them? It looks like 10 or 12, to me. Happy scrapping!
ReplyDeleteWell well, you've been stitchin up a storm ! So much awesome projects going on here. Do you still have that calf to care for? lol
ReplyDeleteYou blend the green solo blocks wonderfully! The finished placemats are just a great bonus!
ReplyDeleteThat's a fun design wall full of green! We'll enjoy seeing what you do with those blocks this month!
ReplyDeleteLove the placemats! So fun. That is a great design wall full of pretty greens.
ReplyDeleteOh, I do like that little circle of spikes quilting design! So many chances to play with new patterns. It is always such a bummer to try something new on a quilt and then have to keep using it even if you don't like it as much as you had hoped. A placemat is just the right size to play and experiment.
ReplyDeleteYou already have a stack of green blocks made, and I've just started pulling greens out. I still have yellow blocks to finish. Congrats!
ReplyDeleteAll the projects look great, especially the quilting. Just like New York beauties.
ReplyDeleteYou are a delightful placemat factory! They are certain to brighten the day of the recipients!
ReplyDeleteYour green blocks look super happy! I'm loving this rainbow challenge. Happy sewing :)
ReplyDeleteI got 2 placemats, 1 runner, 1 square block and 2 mug rugs quilted today! Now to machine bind tomorrow and get some quilting on the table runner I loaded after them! Love the quilting!!! Can I come take lessons? I'll cook dinner!
ReplyDeleteWow, you're leaving the rest of us in the dust!
ReplyDeleteKeep on truckin'.
