Whoot Whoot!!!
This crazy Varied Sized Churn Dash quilt.....
It is finish!! Oh ya!
And as we took the picture in the sun - I realize you can really see the backing through it! Oh well - at least you know it is finally done!
And a little Close up of the quilting.....
and a little more of the quilting....This one was fun to do - all swirly and pointy!
So not that I am keeping track or anything... for real, you know I will lose interest in stats about oh ...say Now..... But this is QOV #5 I have had a hand in so far this year.... yay me....
How about you? do you keep track of numbers for the year? and especially ones that you will give away?

Looks great. Five is amazing in such a short time. I don't track number of quilts...too much stuff to track already. LOL
ReplyDeleteOh how fun! I really like this design and your quilting is gorgeous. Congrats! on having a hand in five QOV quilts already this year. And thank you!!
ReplyDeletePretty spectacular! I wish I had some quilt finish in me this month! It just ain't happenin' yet!
ReplyDeleteYou are such a SHOW-OFF, Alycia!!! And If I were in your place, I would do just the same :-) Beautiful quilt, beautifully quilted. Hope you stay warm this weekend. Hugs to you.
ReplyDeleteWow, great quilt! And #5 for the year already? Amazing! I do like to keep track of what I make, even the quilts I give away. I can feel like I've accomplished something.

Though I generally concentrate on Art Quilts.....there's something so wonderful still in my heart when I see a variation of a traditional pattern. Love the Churn Dash Quilt!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the finish! I kind of love when quilts have light glowing through them like beautiful works of stained glass. :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice!
ReplyDeleteLast year I personally made 66 Quilts of Valor and a couple non QOV's.So far this year I have made 5 quilts and re-worked 5 others. I'm just finshing the back of another one.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! on the finish, Alycia. Stats? It's not hard to keep track when I have yet to finish anything this year!!! Coming soon...
ReplyDeleteIt's such a fun quilt. Love the yellows that you've used, looks like spots of sunshine sprinkled across the surface. Congrats on another finish!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea just squaring up regardless of size. FUN!
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm a data girl. I track fabric in, fabric out, quilts done, quilts to charity, quilts to family, quilts for us, UFOs carried into the next year, $ spent, gift $ in.... I track it all (in Excel).
Happy quilting!
What a FUN quilt that turned out to be!!
ReplyDeleteThat is absolutely gorgeous!!! Churn Dash is my all time favorite and this one is spectacular!
