I'm So Blue ue ue Blue ue ue ooooo is a top!!

Blue Blue Blue
is a top!!
and the borders - are actually sorta a light blue
not sure what happened to the photo 
(I did use my phone to take it)






I also found a big piece of 30's Blue print for the back
AND!!
I even pinned it
and now!! it is ready to be quilted



and then
I started in on this bin!!





and I got everything cut up to look like this..




And now
I might have started a new project
that I didn't intend to start..

None of you ever do anything like that tho - right???
( ha ha ha)

    Love how you did the border with the print squares, and that red one is a cute popper! It looks like you used an AccuQuiltGo to cut up the scraps into perfect strips. What a Godsend and timesaver it can be. It will be fun to see what you do with the strips.

  2. Turning a bin of chaos into organized strips is always great progress. There are lots of worse things than new projects. After a finish a new start seems like a great idea.

  7. Wow! a whole quilt of light blue (and one square of red- love it) in one month. I am shamed. I might be finishing 3 blocks this month. I need to up my game. Thanks for the reminder.

  8. Great job getting a quilt top done this month. Me would I ever start a new project with out panning to. NO. Of course we all do it, but that is OK.

    oh, my!! I have lots of projects in the works!! Didn't know I was supposed to finish one before starting another. Lucky for me I take inventory in Jan. and found yet another. Thanks for your inspiration and motivation.

  22. That blue quilt top is just adorable, and the borders!!! How creative! I need to get going on my scraps, but now that I'm done with last year's Christmas quilts, I haven't been in overdrive production mode. I'm not burned out. I just don't have any deadlines!!!
