Mystery A6 Fabric Choices and Kevin the Quilter Mystery Progress

That!! Is a long title.... but it makes me feel important!

If you read my blog ( or have read it in the past few days) you know.... there is a Mystery A Foot!!!

It is called A6 as it is the 6th mystery I have written for the MysteryQuilts4Military group - however - I have written MANY more ....

For the Fabric Requirements - I posted them Wednesday  - My Fabric choices were shown, but I have decided to make another one!!  ( cuz it is just that fun) and here are my Fabric Choices for this one:

The Creamy White is my Background, and the Navy is Dark #1, Lt Blue is Dark #2, and the Red is my Light #1 .

I show you this so that you know the values will work well together, and although my light is a dark - it will really refer to the placement in this quilt.

and!!

My Kevin the Quilter Mystery
Sapphire Stars

I have most of the first step done - just need a little more Iron time

I try to iron early in the morning,
When I think there is still a possibility it won't be hot

I am not a fan of Hot!

PS - A6 Step 2 ( Clue 2) Comes out Wednesday .... be prepared

  3. Hi Alycia,
Amen to not loving hot - I iron first thing in the morning too. Or lately, I've moved my iron and ironing board to another room altogether. The lights heat up my sewing room as it is without the iron. I love the fabrics in the sapphire stars - so pretty. ~smile~ Roseanne
