March was a really crazy fun month for me... we traveled a LOT and !!!
I had some amazing Custom Client Quilts to quilt.... and that really took precedence. ( that is not a complaint - believe me these quilts are STUNNING)
and so.... my March OMG - was to finish this top into a quilt.....
Well - actually - to make the back, binding, quilt it, and bind it.... I did get the Back made, the Binding made, and it is pinned - ready to go on the LongArm...... but then.... It really wanted to be finished in April.... so....
To the left there - that is the March OMG, aka April OMG -
Truthfully - I didn't want to set too high of goals for me you know, make myself look too good - ha ha ha
And then my Real April One Monthly Goal..... to take this stack of blocks and make them into some Quilt tops.
That is a pretty generic, and not specific goal at all. I have a reason for that - I didn't want to take the time to count how many blocks were in the box - so I thought..... if I just started in ... and the goal was to EMPTY the box - I could surprise myself - and feel WAY accomplished... right???

You are TOO funny!! I've heard of quilts talking to us, but your March OMG told you that it wanted to be finished in April?! I'm NOT buying it!!
ReplyDeleteHave fun emptying that box of blocks... because I have a feeling THAT will end up being your focus! (Knowing you affinity for all things R/W/B.) :P
love your flimsy, I'm sure it will look awesome when quilted. I also like the idea of just emptying the box, great goal!!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck emptying the box...yay!
ReplyDeleteI guess I'd better admit what I did. I talked your March OMG into asking to be finished in April instead, because I really liked seeing it again! :D
ReplyDeletehow fun - a box of blocks! Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal and good luck on your project.
