Travel Time - The high country

You might have figured out by now - that when the chance becomes available for us to hit the high country - we sort of jump at it!!

We headed up to the top to do a little fishing - and I saw this cloud!! Doesn't it look like a dragon or winged animal?   These clouds build up so tall and then head east.

On an aside - the weather for us was pretty good,
when we got home - we saw the rain those clouds brought - kind of cool!

I loved the fall Colors - those blues are just so cool

And this old fence just made me happy

It was soothing to know that others have troubles with their fences too
We have an escape artist in our herd - and the dumb steers follow him out of the boundaries

His new name is Hambuger.... you get that right?

We fished down in that green.
you will have to trust me that there is a stream

I had to trust Wrangler Man that there was one....

We climbed up this hill and watched these clouds
All of a sudden we realized they were moving our way

Quickest sprint I made to the pick up
Still got a little bit of Hail on us - but we were quick!

  1. I love your nature photography. Living near the Mississippi delta (to our south) and the flat frontiers of West Tennessee, I rarely see mountains - I SO enjoy your vistas and the colors of Mother Nature.

  2. It's amazing how fast the weather changes in Colorado, but at least you can see it comin'. Sooo, did you catch any fish?

  5. Beautiful photos! DT is considering college in Colorado. My Guy is thinking that wouldn't be so bad. (The other option is Boston, neither of us is thrilled with that one).
