Good Wednesday Morning!! I can not believe that it is already August! My boys are getting ready to go back to school!! Scary!
Let me show you these Beauties!! For those of you that are new - there are all Quilts of Valor that are ready to go to there forever homes, and show our love to our Veterans. There are just awesome, giving quilters out there, and these are their creations.
I try really hard to make sure to give the right credit, but I have been known to make a few mistakes. It's okay to let me know... I will only cry for a minute or two ;)
Here we go!!
This is a quilt made by the Columbine Quilt Guild quilting Bee. They are a very prolific group!!
Another From The Columbine Quilt Guild. The colors are so neat on this one!.
This is one from Nancy S in Colorado Springs. She is part of the Scrappy Ladies Quilt Guild
It is also a free pattern http://alyciaquilts.blogspot.com/2011/01/scrappy-rail-fence-pattern-for-jan-30th.html

You will have to scroll to the bottom for the first step though ( I guess I am backwards that way!)
This beauty was pieced by Barbara P and Quilted by Liz M. The greens are gorgeous!
This one was pieced by Kathy and quilted by Connie. They are a fabulous duo!!! Love them!
These next two quilts were pieced by Jayette R and Quilted By Dawna of http://www.dawnasdesignthreads.com/ ( she makes pantographs!! They are awesome!)
The last two quilts today are pieced and quilted by Judy V. Judy hasn't been able to quilt much lately so she is itching to get back to it!! I am excited to see what else she comes up with!!
Hope you enjoyed today's show!! I sure enjoy sharing all the beauties with you. It is just amazing the way that we show our gratitude!!
Awesome quilts!
ReplyDeleteLove seeing the wonderful quilts people have made. It provides inspiration to me to continue making patriotic quilts for our local VA hospital. Our group provides about 50 quilts annually and they are well received. Thank you so much for all you do.
ReplyDeleteAlycia,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for being so faithful to provide these "quilt shows' for us.. inspiration, motivation and dedication ...what more could we ask for?
And a great school year for your boys is what I wish for you!! Thanks again! (The quilts are wonderful!)
I love the pattern of the last two - I recognize it from Love of Quilting as it is a pattern I have in my queue! Good Job - Judy!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilts. It's fun to see all the different patterns people use for QOVs.
