Thank goodness for the inspiration to have something to show, or I might have neglected my sewing table all together!!
I am participating in a row robin in our guild so I added a row to this one, and it will go to a new *sew'ist* tuesday!!
My Row is the bottom pumpkins made out of log cabins
I kind of like them!! Wouldn't that be a great table runner?
Can you handle more cowboy pictures?
The Kids had so much fun and they slept so well!!
This is middle bit. This horse is not a roping horse, he was a mountain horse, and really not so sure about those cow things.
Middle bit worked on him quite a bit and he ( the horse) is getting a lot better about ropes, calves, and noise!
This is my nephew again -
I think he was working on two different horses yesterday
One was 4 and the other 6
The little guy - who is really not so little, was working with this Grulla horse. He was doing such a great job. It's wonderful to watch the kids have such patience with animals.
Such determination!!

I love the log cabin pumpkins! :) What size is the block? Oh I would love to be there playing with those guys and those horses!!! I have a serious love affair with horses and have NOT one but O I would so love to. :D
ReplyDeleteCowboys in the making? Or is this just a more interesting "hobby" than say, soccer? Cute log cabin pumpkins.
ReplyDeleteAlycia, love your pumpkins!! Our guild is doing a row round robin right now, too. I didn't participate this go'round, but I think I definitely will the next time!! :)
ReplyDeleteCute pumpkin blocks. Even cuter kids.
ReplyDeleteFun row robin...your pumpkins are great.
ReplyDeleteDarling pumpkins and yes to the table runner! Love all the arena pics! Meant to comment on yesterday's too - the arena was our second home when the kids were growing up. We raise Corrientes so cattle were always handy. Kept my arms in shape by working the chute! :) I have a special place in my heart for ranch kids.
ReplyDeleteLove your pumpkin row, great addition to the quilt.
ReplyDeleteMy family owns a cattle ranch in OK and once when we visited it was round-up and branding time. I had such a great time roping and wrestling calves. And DIRTY? Oh, yes I was. But such fun!
