I feel like I am back on a roll!!! I have started finishing things and getting caught up and oh boy!! It feels so good to be alive.... at least until 3pm when my energy flops!!
This is April's UFO ( from Patchworktimes UFO Challenge) In April - #10 was drawn... and yes, I do realize that this is May.... but May's isn't done yet!!
This quilt is the The Quilt that had to Grow from 2010!!! Ackkk - oh well it is quilted now, and ready to bind!!
The pattern can be found at Mary Quilts and it is a really fun one - or at least I remember having fun making it.....
Oh Look - Little bit and his puppy.....
Back to the quilts... this is the back of it - I kind of like how it turned out!!
So - what are you working on - what did you finish up? What do you want me to come and see and drool over?? Link up!!!
I love it! That's a great quilting pattern you did there too, looks like it would be male friendly too! I am always looking for ideas for masculine quilting. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLittle Bit is a pretty cute guy!
ReplyDeleteLove the quilt! and the spotty, dotty fabric is what "makes" it for me! Spotty dotty fabric is my favorite! --- Little bit and his dog... what a great pair!
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear that you're back in the saddle and what a great finish to celebrate! A girl and her quilt and a boy and his dog - life is good!
ReplyDeleteI have one that just needs a binding also... feels good to be close to a finish... just a little more to go!
ReplyDeleteGreat quilt!
I just love that quilt pattern! I can see a QOV in the near future out of all my scraps!!!! Good for you finishing up a project. I seem to have so many UFO's I don't even know where to begin somedays!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat quilt and pattern but I really love the quilting, thanks for sharing such good photos of it!

ReplyDeleteI have spells of finishing stuff too....it has been awhile. Good Show!
ReplyDeleteI finished quilting one for a friend last night. Today, I'm cutting up t-shirts to make an Alzheimers quilt. ALZ waits for no one, so this is a priority!!
ReplyDeleteLittle bit is such a cutie...you hae the best looking boys!!...and....the best part is that they are truely nice boys! Love it!! Good job, Mom and Dad!!
Turned out great! That's one of my favorite deisgns for quilting too.
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Now I want to do something with polka dots...I just love them but I haven't been sure how to use them in a quilt. Sashing like that is a great way to keep the dots intact!
ReplyDeleteGreat quilt, but ya know the little guy and his pup really stole the show, what a cute pair!!! Love the quilting :)
ReplyDeleteLooks great! A finish is a finish no matter what. Congrats.
