Our Extended Family is Extending - which means,... they (we don't know if it's a he or a she) need a quilt from their Great Aunt right?????
I think this one may be it. This is my Ranch family, so it seems Cowboy/western prints could fit the bill.
This is my Zig Zag Rails Pattern (in my etsy store) I designed it years ago for my 5th graders to sew. Of course we did them in Red White and Blues for our Quilts of Valor. I like the re-imagined color scheme.
There is a story in these photos. My son was holding up the quilt for me, and Pound Puppy couldn't figure out where he went. She sat beautifully until she saw his boots - and then she went nuts!! She knew they were his boots, but WHERE WAS HE?
I laughed so hard as she tried to figure out where he was! He dropped the quilt a little to show his face and she wiggled everywhere. He pulled the quilt back up and 🠇🠇🠇
Oh she is hilarious - She is such a puppy and so much fun, Daisy is not upset, she is trying to slink away. She saw a cat and she knows she can't have cats, but! I was distracted.... so just maybe this one????

That is a hilarious story about Pound Puppy! Guess you have to be vigilant at all times with sneaky Daisy, eh? Love the quilt for the new addition to the family, especially because it’s large. Baby quilt size is nice for about a year and then……?
ReplyDeleteVery fun quilt. Love the puppy story and that last photo of Daisy. Never a dull moment at your place.
ReplyDeleteas usual, I don't know HOW you get 3 doggies to sit for a photo together . That quilt looks mighty big for a new baby. What a goofball, the puppy didnt know her dad was behind the blankie? lol
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect quilt for a "boy or girl" quilt! Your puppies are hysterical, and so danged cute.
