The new QuiltVille Mystery is about to start, and I think... I might do it this year!!!
And then I started looking around, and realized that I had Started On Ringo Lake, but I don't remember starting it, and I never finished....
I am not sure what book On Ringo Lake is in - but I bet you can find it at Quiltville.com - I know Bonnie Sells her patterns after she is done.
This week - you all!_ I am setting a goal - get all these little brown pieces done!
That! and I got 3 more of the 6 pumpkins done, so I have 3 more to go. They don't go bad fast - so I think I can do them this week and still be okay.
Find me at all these places:

I remember that quilt! I didn't make it but many did and they were really pretty. She's got a new one starting later this month too. Good luck with the pumpkins - I've always loved baked pumpkins seeds! Blessings!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you have a decent start with the parts in the tub. Happy sewing this week.
ReplyDeleteGood luck getting your brown pieces done this week. I am hoping to get three small pot holders quilted and bound this week. Every stitch counts!
ReplyDeleteThat was a lot of work on On Ringo Lake to let it sit for YEARS. (On the other hand I have on of Bonnie's quilts languishing in the closet. I can't remember which one it is but the main center part is finished. I might want to work on it again -- I assume I printed out the instructions and maybe I still have them! Good luck with yours.
ReplyDeleteDon't you wonder why you paused in the making of this quilt?! The colors look great and you can surely make what you need of the flying geese! lol
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed On Ringo Lake. I contributed it to the ALA auction. The man who was the successful bidder thanks me at every conference. I like that style of clip, too, and I bought two bags of them to add to the supply. (They are different from the Clover clips.)
ReplyDeleteI've never done a BH mystery but I enjoy following everyone's progress.
ReplyDeleteYou've made me chuckle - because hiding in a drawer are a couple of On Ringo Lake blocks. I only made a few. I just made placemats from leftover Indigo Way blocks. I've finished some of the mystery quilts, but not always as large as the pattern. And some I just followed along while making just a few of the blocks. But it's fun to follow along. I have that same tin of clips, and use them all the time.
ReplyDeleteI think i finished On Ringo Lake.. but Good Fortune is still in pieces and Grassy Creek needs borders...or just finishing as is. I love following her mysteries too.
ReplyDeleteI still have that one in pieces too
ReplyDeleteI have a few of Bonnie's quilts started in my closet. Not sure they will ever get finished...
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are organized and ready for the next step! Will you be participating in Lupine and Laughter?
