I hope you all have a lot of Finishes (or not) to show me, because - I totally Did NOT Finish a thing!! What happened to this week? Where did it go? I had intentions.....
I had this top topped - but it needs borders - and so I was going to audition borders, attach them and!!! Quilt it...
Audition 1 -- Vickie and I decided nope - wrong shade of blue
So I tried #2 and yep!!! I liked it!!
Ta Da!! I got the borders on, and there it sits.... waiting to have a backing and get quilted....
I guess two out of three isn't so bad? Anyways - I need a day off from my goofing off!!!
Here is my Favorite that I have read so far - go check it out!!!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful, love the border! I bet your pups enjoy the days you "goof off".
ReplyDeleteLovely quilt, I agree, the 2nd fabric for the border. Happy stitching!
ReplyDeleteMost of the time, getting a quilt top stage with borders is a huge accomplishment! Yours is a beauty, Alycia - and that border is perfect for the blocks. Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteYou always make the prettiest QOV's!
ReplyDeleteGreat choice for the border and two out of three is a win in my book! :) Then I saw the link to my blog post. . .Shocked, humbled, honored and HAPPY to have my post shared. Dick LOVES his quilt! Thank you for the QAL and pattern!
ReplyDeleteOh yes - that border works beautifully. It will wait patiently for you to get the quilting done.
ReplyDeleteThe border fabric you selected works great for that QOV. I think I have some of that and the little flag one as well. Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteGetting the borders on counts as a finished flimsy in my book!
ReplyDeleteAny progress is worth celebrating! You have a busy life! And the dogs won't cuddle themselves. BTW, the border is perfect.
