GumDrop Mountain Finish - and!!! Finished ( or not) Friday

 Happy Friday!!!!

Do you remember when I participated in the Dust off A book blog hop? I made this top - and it was perfect timing - as I was making it for a couple getting married.... and guess what?

I FINISHED it- and guess what else?

They aren't married yet!!! I BEAT THE Wedding... go me!!

So here is my Finish for the Week:

We got out to take a photo before the sun went down - and I am super glad we did - a few hours later we had rain!! GO rain!!! We will take it, but not when I need a photo!!!

I quilted hearts and swirls all over the quilt and used a Blue backing. Bound it in a blue too . Now!! To put it in a safe place and not forget where that is - so We can gift it come wedding day!!!

Whoot Whoot!!

  10. Beautiful finish! It's possible I really like it because it's the exact colors of the quilt I made for our bed. Hope you get enough rain to keep the drought away.

  13. I love it when a quilt has a forever home and I love it even more when it is finished before it is needed (binding and all, wink wink)!! It's going to be an amazing wedding gift; I'm sure they well get years of love and use out of it.
