Blue Crumbs ( again) or is it the end???

I put a halt to my Blue Crumb block making.... there has to be more to quilting than crumbs right?

Eh?? Maybe not!!!

Anyways - I made a deadline that I could make blocks until - and Bam!!!

Look at that!!   FIFTY ONE blocks....

They all measure 8 1/2 inches - so into the Crumb Block Pile they go to marinate!!
And all that is left is:   👇

I am putting them back into the crumb bin , but I am keeping it in the Light - I don't need these seeds to sprout even MORE blue crumbs  haha!! Fat chance right???

Some friends invited us to a hockey game, and Oh! my! Stars - they have front row tickets - I got the puck coming at me, the players hitting the glass in front of me - it was AWESOME!!

Look how close we were!!! I think I might like Hockey - Maybe I'll have to learn up on it!!

Alright... Back to the Blue!!

    1. Love your blue crumbs, they are so fun to look at with their scrappiness. How exciting you got up close with hockey! We used to go when we were still teens and loved it.

    6. Those seats sure brought the fast action of hockey close to you! Love all your blocks. I'd probably make a few more blocks for that last row (by cutting up yardage) then call it a day. This will be a pretty quilt! Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.

    7. Oooh, what crumb-y goodness! You could assemble them as they are or add frames or shadowboxes or . . . such potential!

    9. I did crumb blocks last year, but never 51 LOL Usually it ended up being 12. Then I ended up turning them into placemats at the ends of the year.

    12. Holy Hosers! You really hit the petal to the metal on the blues. They look fantastic up on your wall like that. Hockey is such a fun, competitive game (coming from a Canadian, that's an understatement, haha). It's funny how even the hockey players are wearing blue. Enjoy! ;^)

    15. Hooray! You know I love crumb blocks. You really whipped them out this week. Not being a Hockey fan, though our daughter is, I can’t tell who was playing. The Avs? Or Someone else?
